Apple opened their new flagship Apple Store in Causeway Bay Hong Kong last weekend. The 3-story store is featured with a 30-foot glass curtain wall allowing transparent view of all the 3 levels inside.
Annual Rent Rate of $2,630 per-square-foot
The new store is also located in the world’s most expensive retail area with annual rent of $2,630 per-square-foot, which has recently been reported to surpass New York City’s Fifth Avenue rate of $2,500 per-square-foot, according to Cushman & Wakefield’s annual real estate rent report. Paris’s Avenue des Champs-Elysees came in third with $1,129 per square foot while Tokyo’s Ginza district in fourth place with average annual rent at $1,057 per square foot.
