The wait is finally over. Apple have just announced on their website that iPhone 5 will be available in Malaysia on 14 December 2012 together with more than over 50 countries around the world.

According to Apple press release on Apple.com, South Korea will get the iPhone 5 first on 07 December 2012 (I didn’t noticed the Koreans didn’t get their iPhone 5 yet), followed by 33 countries a week later on 14 December 2012 - Albania, Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Ecuador, Grenada, Indonesia, Israel, Jamaica, Jordan, Kuwait, Macedonia, Malaysia, Moldova, Montenegro, Panama, Paraguay, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Venezuela. On 21 December 2012, the iPhone 5 will be available in 20 more countries - Barbados, Botswana, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Egypt, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Morocco, Niger, Senegal, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St.Vincent & the Grenadines, Tunisia, Uganda and Vietnam.
The iPhone 5 is currently available in 47 countries around the world, including the United States, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and Thailand.
